My social life revolves around finding and repurposing cool old stuff. Our home reflects this passion. But our little cottage can only accommodate so much, so I rescue treasures and make them available to like-minded friends in local shops.
Whenever possible, I prefer to stock my space thematically. It tends to create a lot more interest and draws shoppers to my space. My vignettes also fire the imaginations of women who may be unsure how to incorporate some of my unusual finds into their decor.
It is exciting to find the right antique & collectibles Co-Op that matches our taste and target audience. It is a constant search, as the market is very dynamic with stores coming and going all the time.
Over the years I have been in at least a half dozen shops. With each venture, I meet more exciting people. I have written blog posts on what it takes to find the perfect venue to share your stuff with the world.
Presently I am experimenting with various online sales methods. Look forward to blogposts discussing the Pros and Cons of this ongoing evolution.
Hope to see you soon. Happy Hunting!

I dropped by your space at Covey House in Fitzwilliam recently. I love how you present all your collectibles in a thematic fashion.
